There was no winner in this week’s draw so the jackpot for next week’s draw will be €1,200.

The winners of the Quick Pick of €20 each, were Allan Murphy and Joe Kearney.

Cork Boat Club Lotto draw – Easter Sunday 12 April. Numbers 10, 12, 18, 32

  • Draws will take place every Sunday at noon. Tickets available for purchase until 18:00 on Saturday preceding draw.
  • Results will be posted on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/CorkBoatClub/

  • Numbers will be allocated randomly (Quick Pick).
  • Ticket Cost: €2 – 1 line or €5 – 3 lines and tickets can be purchased for the next 6 draws.
  • The Jackpot will increase by €50 each week that it has not been won.

 

 

Covid-19 Update: 14th March 2020

Following further consultation with the committee and the coaches, the decision has been taken

to close Cork Boat Club until further notice.

There will be no training of any sort taking place at the club during this period.

Beginner Rowing Course Postponed

Due to the current outbreak of Coronavirus in Ireland we are postponing the remainder of our Beginner Rowing course until further notice. We will be in contact again when the situation improves to let ye know when we will be continuing.

Table Quiz – 7pm Friday 21th of Feb

We would be delighted if you would join us on Friday night 7pm for a fun night in the Club in Blackrock Village for our annual fundraising Table Quiz. This event is open to all members [past and present], family and friends.

The format is 4 people per table but don’t worry if you can’t make up a table as we’ll look after that on the night. Entry is €10 per adult and €5 for Juniors – There will also be a raffle on the night and a tuck shop.

All proceeds will go to the Club in supporting activities such as the club travelling to Ghent International Regatta in Belgium next May.

Please spread word and let people that everyone is welcome.

Learn To Row

Cork Boat Club runs several learn to row courses throughout the year for both adults and juniors. The next learn to row course will start on Saturday the 25th of January and run for 6 weeks with training 3 times a week. The training takes place in either 4 or 8 person boats and is a great way to get fit, learn co-ordination and timing and make new friends. The cost for the course is €150 euros.

The training times are as follows:

Friday: 6pm-7pm (In the gym)

Saturday & Sunday: Either 12:30pm – 2pm or 2pm – 3:30pm depending on which slot you’d prefer. (subject to availability) On the water.
