Cork Boat Club’s summer camp is aimed at boys & girls aged 12+ who wish to learn how to row or to improve their technique. Emphasis is on water safety, fun out in the open air, exercise, teamwork, making new friends and simply experiencing the joy of rowing!

The Annual President’s dinner will be hosted by club President Gerry Buckley on Friday April 28th at 19:30 in Club Brasserie, Lapp’s Quay.
Tickets at €50 are available from the club cafe every weekend or at any time from any of the committee or coaching staff.
There will also be a pre-dinner drinks reception in the bar from 7:30pm
Reminder that the Annual Table Quiz is on in the Club on Thursday March 16th from 7:30PM. (Note: Friday is St Patrick’s Day so most people are off…)
It is being hosted by the Cork Boat Club Juniors to raise funds for the new Filippi eight in memory of Paul McCarthy (Sindy). Teams of 4 at €40 per team!
All are welcome so bring your Family & Friends. A shop will be setup on the night for refreshments plus the club bar will be in operation during and after the event.
Please spread the word as it’s a great night out and an extremely worthy cause.
Our new Filippi 8 to be called after Paul McCarthy aka ‘Sindy’ has arrived in Boat Club.
This boat will be pride of the Boat Club fleet for many years to come.

Cork Boat Club Annual Golf Outing
To be held in Douglas Golf Club (by kind permission) Friday 22nd July 2016
We are looking for your generous support and sponsorship for our Annual Golf Classic.
We have close to 80 young people rowing out of Cork Boat Club at the moment. This could not be possible without our various fundraising throughout the year of which the golf classic is the biggest. You cannot underestimate the joy the children get from the activity of rowing which allows them to partake in a sport out in the fresh air with their friends.
Carrying on from our huge success of seven Irish Championships in 2014 we added another 2 championships last year and we are hopeful we will add more to this tally in July 2016. ‘
The entry fee this year is € 260 for a team of three, which includes a two course meal for each team member. Tee boxes can also be sponsored for € 125.00
